Good afternoon
My name is João. I'm from Portugal and over the next few months my goal is to share my Erasmus experience. I'm not targetting anyone in particular. Perhaps nobody will read it. However, the important part is to share this experience with myself and that's what I will try to accomplish.
I will have my Erasmus experience in Finland. Although this was not my number one choice I choose this country because of his education level and the fact that the majority of the people don't really know much about it. I for instance didn't know much about Finland.
I started this blog one month before my departure. It's still hard to believe that it has passed so fast and I'm actually going to depart soon!
To be perfectly honest I'm scared. Mostly scared because I will face a new culture, a new way of live, and meet new people! For an introvert person like myself this is just too much. Nevertheless, we should always try do exciting and new things that put you outside your confort zone . I believe this is a good opurtunity to do exactly that!
In my mind, I think about what will I miss when I will be in Finland. My family, my friends, my dog or simply the privilege of speaking portuguese in the street! I know I'll find different things. Perhaps meet a special girl, do sauna or learn to love to eat fish.( I hate fish by the way).
I don't know what will happen but I hope something good
